Het in Rome gevestigde modehuis Fendi is opgericht in 1925 door het koppel Adele en Edoardo Fendi. Ze waren met hun identieke collecties al snel bekend buiten de Italiaanse stad. Iconische items, die hedendaags nog steeds gedragen worden, zijn de baguette- en peekaboobag. Het merk verwerkt in zijn items vaak het logo, zodat te herkennen is dat de items van Fendi zijn.
