THE TRENDS SPOTTED IN PARIS: HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

26 maart 2025

Make it personal

Following trends? That's so last season. In 2025, fashion is all about individualism. Create your own style by experimenting with different looks and trends in a way that suits you. Personalization takes center stage: from embroidery on caps to statement hats and the return of bag charms. What was once a playful accessory is now an essential fashion item. Luxury brands like Loewe, Prada, and Coach have already transformed these bag charms into small art pieces.
:brBlack tights are out

The coquette trend gets a fresh update with eye-catching tights in color and print. Chanel and Miu Miu set the tone with pastel hues and floral patterns, perfect for a playful streetwear look. Lace tights are also making a comeback, blending romance with an edgy twist.
The medium bag

Mini bags? Let's set those aside for now. The fashion world is increasingly opting for functionality. The medium bag is the new favorite: spacious enough for your essentials, compact enough to remain chic. Prada and Bottega Veneta show how to carry this bag casually under your arm for a laid-back vibe.
Polka dots. Yes, really.

The comeback that no one saw coming: polka dots are back in style. From maxi dresses to tops and skirts, this playful print is making a strong return for the new season. We've already seen a lot of the classic black-and-white dot pattern on the streets.
Jeans with a twist

The Y2K revival continues to be popular, bringing a new trend for the spring season: the pants-skirt combo. Love it or hate it, layering a skirt or dress over pants is totally in. Bottega Veneta and Lacoste show that this noughties meets boho vibe can be surprisingly stylish. Pair a mini skirt with slim-fit jeans or opt for a midi skirt over baggy pants for a bolder look.
The mid-calf boot

Staying in line with vintage vibes and the 2000s: the mid-calf boot is a must-have for the new season. These boots seem indispensable on the streets of Paris. We mostly saw them in suede or leather, black or a statement color like red. Ideally, with a slightly pointed toe and a mid-height heel. Perfect for adding a touch of femininity to your streetwear outfit.
Cowboycore continues

While in 2024 we fully embraced dramatic Western influences, now it's all about subtlety. Think belts with large buckles, blazers with a Western touch, and of course, the cowboy hat. Flared jeans are still in, but instead of oversized looks, we prefer to pair them with sleeker silhouettes. The cowboycore trend remains, but with a sophisticated twist.

Which trend are you going to try out this season?
